About Solution
Thales CTE
Thales CTE is a file system-level encryption solution that leverages the cryptographic and key management capabilities of the CipherTrust Manager platform to protect data. File system-level encryption, often referred to as file or folder encryption, is a form of disk encryption in which individual files or directories are encrypted by the file system itself. CTE performs transparent encryption. Authorized users continue to have read and write access to encrypted data. Unauthorized users cannot access encrypted data. It provides centralized key and policy management to meet compliance requirements. It provides granular access controls to prevent unauthorized users and processes from accessing encrypted data. It can be deployed on network shares, file servers, web servers, application servers, database servers, or other machines running compatible software.
